Shooting Victim Dies Friday, Investigation Continues

Prince William County Police say someone entered a Manassas area home and shot the man.

MANASSAS, VA — A man found shot in a Manasssas area home died from his injuries on Friday, according to Prince William County Police.

The victim has been identified as John Thomas Mannion, 43, of Manassas.

No arrests have been made in the case, but police do not believe the shooting was random.

At 2:45 a.m. Thursday, officers responded to a home in the 9500 block of Hensley Road to investigate a shooting.

Mannion was found suffering from a gunshot wound to the upper body.

Investigators say that possibly two suspects entered the home and Mannion before fleeing.
