Site of Prince William County Explosion Deemed Unsafe
One person was injured as a result of the explosion, Prince William Fire and Rescue reports show.

The site of a sudden explosion Monday on Innovation Drive in the Manassas-area has been deemed unsafe, a Prince William County Department of Fire and Rescue spokeswoman said.
The explosion happened just after 11:30 a.m. at Utron Kinetics at 9441 Innovation Drive, not far from the Prince William campus of George Mason University.

One employee of the company suffered minor injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
Emergency crews that arrived on the scene saw significant damage to the roof and other parts of the building, said Kim Hylander, Prince William County Fire and Rescue spokeswoman.
As a precaution, the building and some surrounding structures were evacuated.
Officials from the county's building inspection team responded to the scene and found the building to be unsafe.
The county's HAZMAT team conducted an investigation and found no hazardous materials threat.
The Prince William County Fire Marshal's office continues its investigation of the incident.
