Suspect Wanted In 18-Year-Old Woman's Killing Arrested In Massachusetts
Prince William County Police say U.S. marshals located the suspect wanted in a Manassas area shooting that killed an 18-year-old woman.

MANASSAS, VA — A suspect wanted in the killing of an 18-year-old woman in the Manassas area of Prince William County was arrested in Massachusetts Tuesday.
The U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force located and arrested German Joseth Torres Lizama, 20, of Manassas Tuesday in Lynn, Massachusetts. He was charged with murder and use of a firearm in commission of a felony and will be held in Massachusetts until his extradition to Virginia.
Prince William County Police had identified Torres Lizama as the suspect in the July 18 homicide that killed Ashlin Yamileth Paz, 18, of no fixed address. Police believe the suspect and victim knew each other and had an altercation during a planned meeting in the area of Pineview Road and Cregger Lane.

Police had responded to a shooting report around 8:23 p.m. on July 18. Officers found the 18-year-old women in a wooded area with upper body gunshot wounds. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. There were no other reported injuries or property damage.
