Woman Sexually Assaulted At Super Bowl Party In Manassas: Police

MANASSAS, VA—A man was arrested early Monday after sexually assaulting a woman during a Super Bowl party in the 9200 block of Hastings Drive, according to Manassas City Police. Stephen Ice, 31, of Manassas, was charged with aggravated sexual battery, object sexual penetration, destruction of property, public intoxication, carrying a firearm while intoxicated and vehicle tampering. He was being held without bond.

Shortly before 1:30 a.m., police went to the aforementioned address for a reported sexual assault. They found that Ice and the woman—a 23-year-old Fairfax County resident—were at his residence for a Super Bowl party. At some point during the party, say police, Ice sexually assaulted her. He fled before police arrived but was later found sleeping in a nearby unlocked vehicle.

The woman was treated at a local hospital and released.
