Annual Howl-O-Ween Event planned for Saturday
Are you ready for a different kind of 'paw'ty?

The Manassas Park Department of Parks and Recreation is slated to host a very special kind of 'paw'ty on Saturday morning.
The city’s Howl-O-Ween costume party for dogs is scheduled to take place from 10 a.m. to noon at the Manassas Park Dog Park located just behind the community center.
This is the second year for the event, Jennifer Deuterman, parks and recreation marketing manager said.

Last year, the event was held to raise money for the dog park, she said.
Now that the dog park is open for business, all funds will go toward maintaining and enhancing the park.

The event is free to humans, but dogs should prepare to fork over five bones a piece ($5)
