Cougars Soccer Team to Play in District Championship
Tuesday's big win against No. 2 team propels boys to big dance on Thursday.

The Manassas Park High School boys soccer team defeated No. 2 ranked Clarke County High School Tuesday night, advancing them to the Bull Run District Tournament Championship on Thursday to take on No. 1-ranked Mustangs of George Mason.
The Cougars defeated the Eagles 5-2 in the Bull Run District Semifinals which were held at George Mason High School.
The Championship match will began Thursday at 7 p.m. at the Mustangs' home.

Admission to the final game is $4.
Immediately following the game, there will be an awards ceremony to honor the regular season champions George Mason High, the district tournament champions, the Boys All District Awards, the player of the year and the coach of the year.

Tuesday's win also propelled the Cougars to the 2011 Region B Tournament which will be played Monday at Stonewall Jackson High School in Quicksburg at 6 p.m. If the Cougars are victorious against the Generals Monday, there will be a second round of play at Manassas Park High School.
Admission to all Region B games is $5.
