Deadline for Voter Registration is Monday

Be patient if you go to your local voter registar's office for assistance; they are very busy this time of year and delays are common, state elections officials said.

The last day to register to vote in the Nov. 6 election is Monday, Virginia State Election Board officials said.

It is also the last day for registered voters to change the name or address on their voting cards.

Voter registrations can be downloaded from the website sbe.virginia.gov or found at any voter registrar or Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles Office.
