Free Back-to-School Physicals Offered this Week in Manassas Park
Plus the city's weekly farmers' market, adult basketball drop-ins and live performances in neighboring Manassas.
- The Prince William Health District, together with Manassas Park City Schools will offer free physical exams for the uninsured and those ineligible for Medicad Friday at Cougar Elementary nurse's clinic from 1 to 4 p.m. Make an appointment by calling 703-392-1317.
- There's an adult basketball drop in on Tuesdays from 7 to 10 p.m. and Saturday from 3 to 7 p.m. at the Manassas Park Community Center at 99 Adams St. in Manassas Park. It's free for members. The drop in rate applies for nonmembers.
- The Dixie Power Trio will perform at Harris Pavilion Saturday aspart of the Center for the Arts-at the Candy Factory's SummerSounds Concert series. The performance is from 6:30 to 8 p.m. rain or shine.
- The Smart Markets Inc. weekly farmers market is Friday from 3 to 7 p.m. in the Manassas Park City Hall parking lot at the corner of Manassas Drive and Park Center Court.
