Grab and Go: July 27

Civil War anniversary reflections by five Manassas artists, fun at the farmer's market and a great booked-based movie, all going on this week in Manassas and Manassas Park.

It’s going to be a little cooler than last week and there are plenty of things going on around Manassas and Manassas Park for the family.

  • Head over to the Central Community Library and pick up July’s monthly mind bender contest form and complete it with the whole family.  This month’s topic is “Amazing Tales Around the World.” You could win a new book if you submit your correct answers! The contest ends on July 30. A new contest themed, "Fun at the Beach" will begin on Aug. 1.
  • Find some treats at the Manassas Farmers’ Market in Old Town Manassas on July 28 from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. and July 30 from 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
