Find some fun things to do in Manassas Park and beyond this week for the July 4 holiday. 

  • Head out to the Manassas Park Community Center on July 4 for the city's annual fireworks display at Signal Hill Park. The festivities start at 7 p.m. and last until 10 p.m. 

 

  • Head over to the Central Community Library and pick up June’s monthly mind bender contest form and complete it with the whole family.  This month’s topic is, “Tall Tales Characters Anagram.” You could win a new book if you submit your correct answers! The contest ends on June 30. July’s topic is “Amazing Tales Around the World.

  • Check out the Manassas/Warrenton Photo Exhibit at the Hylton Performing Arts Center in Manassas until July 3.

 

  • Check out the Bugs, Baboons and Story Tunes performance at Central Community Library on June 29 at 10:30 a.m.

  • Learn about gardening at the Amazing Tails in Your Garden program at Bull Run Regional Library on June 30 at 10:30 a.m. or at Central Community Library on June 30 at 3 p.m.

 

  • Stop by Creative Brush Studio and check out the 150xFIVE exhibit on July 1 to July 8 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
