Manassas Park High Coach, Family Displaced by Fire

High school collecting donations internally for family of five, others organizations accepting donations from community.

 

and now their community is trying to help them rebuild their lives.

Coach Michael Wilbourn, his wife,Trinity, the couple's 4 and 5-year-old boys and their 1-year-old daughter were all displaced by the fire.

The couple's fourth child is due at the end of the week.

Eric Doyle, principal of Manassas Park High School, said the school is collecting donations interally, but no external efforts are being conducted.

The family has close ties in the community and with their church, he said.

The family is currently staying in temporary housing because their home was deemed a total loss.

Items needed include household items, baby items, children's clothing, Christmas decorations, gift cards and furniture.

Use this sign up list to indicate which items you'll be able to donate to the Wilbourn family.

Designated drop-off points include the family's church, Manassas Assembly of God in Bristow or The King's Mason's, located at 8195-c Euclid Ct. in Manassas Park.
