Manassas Police Search for Burglary Suspects

More than $13,000 in goods taken from one Manassas home Friday

 Manassas Police are searching for clues and suspects in connection with two burglaries that reportedly happened in Manassas Friday, according to a press release issued Monday by the Manassas Police Department.

Investigators said the first incident happened between 9:45 a.m. and 3 p.m. on the 8500 block of King Carter Drive.  That's where someone pried open a sliding glass door stole more than $13,000 in good from the home.

Sports memorabilia, gaming equipment, two televisions and other electronic equipment were taken from inside, according to investigators.

Later that same day, someone forced open the basement door of a home on the 8600 block of Liberia Avenue and took cash and a .38 caliber pistol.
