Missing Car Turns Up at Repair Shop

Resident told police a car was stolen, but it turns out it was being repaired.

Manassas Park Police discovered a car that was reported stolen on Thursday is actually at a repair shop.

A resident told police that his blue, 2004 Ford Explorer disappeared from his house on the 100 block of Scott Drive on Thursday.

A witness told police they saw a tow truck driver pull up in front of the home and take pictures of the car before towing it away.

Police said the witness didn't think a crime was being committed because the car did have noticable damage.

The car was located at a repair shop and police told the owner the car hadn't been stolen.
