Police: $10,000 Stolen From Manassas Park Resident

Thieves gain access to victim's account and made more than $10,000 in purchases in less than five days.

Police are searching for clues and suspects after someone obtained credit card information belonging to a Manassas Park resident and then used it to make several purchases, according to a press release issued this week by the Manassas Park Police Department.

It happened sometime between June 6 and June 10, when police said theives somehow obtained the victim's credit card information.

From there, the suspects made purchases from several merchants, including Apple, Ralph Lauren, Gucci and Louis Vuitton, according to the press release.

In all, the thieves charged $10,199.88 to the victim's credit card.

No arrests have been made in connection with the case, but the investigation is ongoing, police said.
