Police: Boy Uses Weed Eater to Damage Neighbor's Lawn, Car

Manassas Park Police are looking for a 12-year-old boy who they say used a weed eater to damage his neighbor's bushes, flowers and car. It happened Oct. 3 at about 3 p.m. on the 100 block of Martin Drive, when a neighbor witnessed a boy using a battery-powered weed eater to damage the victim's lawn and one side of that person's vehicle.

The witness recognized the boy and provided a description to police, Manassas Park Police reports show. The young suspect's mother told police she would try to find her son and bring him to the police department. Police are still investigating the incident. No arrests have been made.
