Police Investigate Attempted Break-In on White Pine Drive

Police said someone tried to pry open the sliding glass door of a home on White Pine Drive Monday.

Police are searching for two suspects who tried to break into a home on the 8200 block of White Pine Drive Monday, Manassas Park Police reports show.

It happened just after 1 a.m. when the victim heard a sound in the kitchen and went to investigate. The victim then noticed two men standing outside the home, trying to open the sliding glass door.

Police responded and looked for the suspects who fled after the incident, but where unable to find them. The scene was processed and fingerprints were recovered.

One suspect is described as a black man, 5 feet 9 inches tall and about 140 pounds. He appeared to be in his teens or early twenties.  He was last seen wearing blue jeans and a dark sweatshirt.

The second suspect is described as a Hispanic man in his late teens or early twenties and about the same height and weight as his companion. He was last seen wearing blue jeans and a dark sweatshirt.
