Prince William County Police are searching for a man who tried to rob a local barbershop on Thursday afternoon. Witnesses told police that a man with a gun walked into the Maplewood Barbershop at 8350 Shoppers Square in the Manassas area at 12:46 p.m. The suspect ordered everyone to leave the store before he was confronted by an employee standing at the rear of the shop. Several employees screamed and the suspect fled the scene. No money or valuables were taken and no injuries were reported, Prince William County Police reports show. Canines and a helicopter were brought in to search the area, but the suspect wasn't located. The suspect is described as a black man standing about 6'1". He was last seen wearing black jeans and a black jacket.
