Police: Man Purchased Fake International Driver's License

Manassas man arrested after police said he purchased a fake international driver's license after hearing it advertised on the radio.

A Manassas man was arrested this month after police said he purchased a fake international driver’s license, according to a press release issued by the Manassas Park Police Department.

 Victorina Reyes-Chan, 31, 9906 Rickover Court is charged with possession of false documents, according to the release.

 Police stopped the suspect’s vehicle for a traffic violation. That’s when he showed them an international driver’s license which he later said he’d purchased for $150 after hearing it advertised on the radio, according to the release.

 The suspect told police he thought the document was genuine.

 Reyes-Chain is also charged with driving without a license and improper stopping on a highway.

 He is slated to appear in court on May 11.
