Police: Manassas Park Teen Beaten With Baseball Bat

Police searching for two men who attacked a teen and his companion early Sunday.

A Manassas Park teen is recovering from non-life threatening injuries after police said he was attacked with a baseball bat.

It happened Sunday just before 3:30 a.m. on the 8000 block of Ashland Drive. in Manassas. 

The 18-year-old victim told police he was walking with a female when two men approached the pair, one of them striking him in the head with a bat before running away, Prince William County Police reports show.

The victim was transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries. His companion wasn't injured.

Police are searching for two white men in their twenties in connection with the crime.

One suspect is 5 feet 10 inches tall and about 190 pounds with a medium build and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing dark hooded sweatshirt jeans and toting a baseball bat.

The another suspect is 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighing about 170 pounds with a heavy build. He was last seen wearing a red baseball cap and a dark hooded sweatshirt.

Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call police.
