Police Urge Precaution After Several Thefts in Manassas Park

Most of the thefts happened in the neighborhood between Manassas Drive and Rugby Road, police said

Manassas Park Police are urging residents to keep a watchful eye on their belongings after a slew of thefts in the city.

Several sheds, outbuildings and vehicles—particularly those in the area between Rugby Road and Manassas Drive have been the target of thieves, police said in a press release issued earlier this month.

The department also distributed written letters about the larcenies to people in that community.

Residents should be extra careful and make sure their sheds and outbuildings are locked. They should also call police if they see someone acting suspiciously.
