Public Health Week Begins April 1 in Prince William County, Manassas, Manassas Park
The theme is Public Health is ROI: Save Lives, Save Money.

The Prince William Health District is raising awareness about the importance of public health care this week, according to the Virginia Department of Health website.
April 1-7 is Public Health Week in the Prince William Health District. The district includes Manassas Park, Manassas and Prince William County.
District officials are hoping to determine the community's significant health issues by offering free, anonymous online survey.

“Unlike clinical professionals who focus primarily on treating individuals after they become sick or injured, public health professionals try to prevent problems from happening or recurring through educational programs, services, policy recommendations and research,” Dr. Alison Ansher, district health director, said.
