Manassas Park Police said residents who attend can expect to engage in good conversation and walk away with good information for themselves and their families.

It is tradition for residents to show their support for the event by leaving their porch and yard lights on.  Holding flashlight walks around their neighborhoods or throwing block parties are also common.
