Police: Suspect Used Ladder to Steal 50 Pounds of Copper in Manassas Park

The stolen copper is valued at $300, police said.

A man was caught on camera using a ladder to climb into a garage window and steal 50 pounds of copper fittings, Manassas Park Police report show. 

It happened at 2:30 a.m. on Aug. 2 on Martin Drive when surveillance video captured a man using a 6-foot ladder to enter a garage window.

The man fled the scene with $300 in copper fittings.

The suspect is described as wearing light-colored jeans, a long-sleeved light colored shirt, boots, dark gloves and glasses.
