Prom is one of those events a young girl remembers for the rest of her life. Patch shadowed 18-year-old Manassas Park High School student Samantha De La Cruz on the day of her senior prom, held Friday abroad the Spirit of Washington which departed at sunset for a memorable cruise down the Potomac River. Just hours before prom, De La Cruz discovered she'd been nominated for Prom Queen,which she said was completely unexpected, as the teen had earned the tite of Prom Princess the year before.
