BAYPORT CREDIT UNION WILL JOIN THE ALZHEIMER’S ASSOCIATION WALK TO END ALZHEIMER’S

Walk to End Alzheimer’s is World’s Largest Event Dedicated to Alzheimer’s Care, Support and Research

NORFOLK, VA, August 7, 2023 – BayPort Credit Union will join the Alzheimer’s Association Southeastern Virginia as a 2023 Walk to End Alzheimer’s® Peninsula (Newport News) Promise Garden sponsor.

The Peninsula Walk to End Alzheimer’s will be held on Saturday, October 21 at Styron Square at Port Warwick. On Walk day, participants honor those affected by Alzheimer’s with the poignant Promise Garden ceremony — a mission-focused experience that signifies our solidarity in the fight against the disease. The colors of the Promise Garden flowers represent people’s connection to Alzheimer’s — their personal reasons to end the disease.

More than 6 million Americans are living with Alzheimer's disease in the United States.
