Marching Virginians Gain Four Oakton Residents

Virginia Tech's Marching Virginians added four Oakton residents to their marching band.

• Erica Riddle, a freshmen general engineering major
• Mark McNamee, a sophomore computer engineering major
• David Knapp, a sophomore mechanical engineering major
• Christina Duell, a fifth year biological systems engineering major

Under the direction of David McKee and Polly Middleton, the band will feature music of America throughout the season, in addition to music of the Jackson 5, the Beatles and others, according to a statement from Virginia Tech.

The Marching Virginians celebrate their 38th season this year.
