A group of 15 will venture to the highlands of Guatemala this July to build a schoolroom onto an overcrowded elementary school. With 2000 students they currently hang sheets down the middle of the rooms to double their capacity.
The group is having a fundraising dinner at Vale United Methodist Church on Wednesday, May 23rd at 6:00 p.m. Cost is $10.00 per person and additional donations are accepted. Vale UMC is located at11528 Vale Rd., Oakton, VA 22124 (at the corner of Fox Mill and Vale Road).
