For the week ending May 30, there was one major incident, eight larcenies and one vehicle theft included in the Fair Oaks District Activity Report. Fair Oaks District encompasses Oakton.

Burglary: 13200 block of Memory Lane, 5/29/12, 8 a.m. The resident reported a young man just ran out of their home. It was later learned cash and a wallet were stolen. It appears entry was made through an unlocked front window.

  • 11100 Lee Highway, knives from business
  • Valentino Drive/Bushman Drive, tools stolen from vehicle
  • 5200 Whisper Willow Drive, camera and DVD player from residence
