Flint Hill continues undefeated season

The Flint Hill Huskies continued their undefeated season with a 14-0 victory over St. Anne's Belfield on Saturday.

Jonny Howard, a runningback who took 18 carries for 115 yards, scored on the first drive of the game with a 10-yard rush. Howard also took two catches for 24 yards.

The other touchdown came from fullback Jerrod Reed on an 8-yard rush in the first quarter. Reed rushed 58 yards on 11 carries.

Hunter Windmuller made both extra point attempts, and punted for 60, 49 and 47 yards.

Quarterback Andy Rehberger threw seven completed passes for 81 yards Saturday.

Keeping the shutout alive, Chrystian Brown intercepted the ball in the Saints' end zone. Also standing out on defense were Ben Kase and Jared Luebbers, who each had a sack. Luebbers also had a fumble recovery, and Kase led the team with 10 tackles.

The Huskies (4-0) will face Bishop Ireton (5-0) at home 4 p.m. Saturday. The game will end one team's undefeated season.

Game notes:

Offense: Trevor Ogundepo had nine carries for 28 yards. Chrystian Brown and Nick Bazzarone had two catches each, notching 27 and 17 yards, respectively.

Defense:

Larry Chambers and Dominique Chestnut made 9 tackles. Jared Luebbers had five tackles.
