Girls Lacrosse: Cougars Start Season with Win Streak

Oakton defeats Langley to stretch record to 3-0

The Oakton High girls lacrosse team has started its season with a three-game win streak, defeating Langley 13-10 in its latest matchup.

Alex Revel led the Cougars with four goals and one assist in the effort, while Jackie Rupp (3 goals, 3 assists), Allison Turk (3), Carly Palmucci (2, 1) and Tori Anderson (1) also contributed to the final tally. Goalkeeper Emily George made eight saves.

The Cougars , and are on pace to do just that. Three games into their 2011 season, the Cougars had a 1-2 record.

The Cougars will look to stretch their win streak when they host Georgetown Visitation at 7:15 p.m. Monday.
