
Oakton High girls tennis lost their first regular season game since 2010 in a 5-4 loss to Chantilly High on Thursday.
The decision came in the very last doubles match between Oakton's Sarah Kim and Karly Castellaw, and Chantilly's Vivian Vu and Asriel Walker. Vu and Walker won 10-3.
Most of the matchups ended with lopsided scores, except the singles battle between Oakton's Annalise Capalbo and Neha Rampally, which ended with Capalbo pulling out an 8-6 win in a tiebreaker.
