Ideaventions to Host Summer Camp in Manassas Park

Oakton-based business to offer summer programming at Manassas Park Community Center

The and will offer a themed science camp for children this summer. 

From June 25 to Aug. 6, campers can enjoy a new theme each week. Themes include chemical reactions, operation spy, mystery disease and space exploration.

“Working in conjunction with Ideaventions allows us to offer a different type of camp experience to kids in Prince William County,” said Tony Thomas, the recreation supervisor for Manassas Park Department of Parks and Recreation.

The camp is open to children ages 6 to 11. Ideaventions offers programming based on the curriculum in local schools such as science, technology, engineering and mathematics.

“We are excited to add ideaventions camps to our roster and have heard wonderful things about them,”  Thomas said. “Our goal is to offer a quality experience with knowledgeable instructors to our local kids.”

A standard day of summer camp runs from 8:30 until 3:30 p.m. Ideaventions Camp costs $395 per week. Parents can register for ideaventions camps at the Manassas Park Community Center website or at ideaventions.com
