Oakton graduate plays in College World Series

A week after bringing her team to the state championship game, Jean Counts, the Oakton girls lacrosse coach, was Friday after 14 years and three state championship titles.
Details from the bank robbery at BB&T in Oakton in court documents. Edward Martin Andrews, of Bladensburg, Md., was arrested and charged in connection with the robbery. The vehicle Andrews drove in the pursuit after the robbery had an FBI tracker attached to it the day before.

Werman's son, Keith, the headlines after his University of Virginia baseball squad qualified for the College World Series. Keith, an Oakton High graduate, plays second base for the Cavaliers. On Sunday, Keith the first run of the game and knocked in a run, going 2 for 4 in the first game of the series.
