Oakton Divers Dominate in Win over Tuckahoe

Otters even record to 1-1 to start the 2012 summer season

The Oakton Otters dive team dominated the boards at their second home meet of the season on Tuesday with a convincing 41.5-26.5 win over Tuckahoe, evening their record to 1-1.

The Otters placed in nearly every category and swept the top three places in both Junior Girls (Mackenzie Brennan, Kenna Campfield and Kyla Straker) and Intermediate Boys (James Crowley, Gil Osofsky and Grant Newberry).

The Otters, who compete in Division 4 of the Northern Virginia Swimming League, also took first place in three other categories: Brad Burgeson for Junior Boys, A.J. Colbert for Senior Girls and Daniel Nugent for Senior Boys.

The Otters next meet will be Tuesday at Wakefield.
