See International Space Station Tonight

Space station will fly above the Oakton area between 9:47 and 9:50 p.m. Monday

If you look at the sky later this evening, there's a good chance you'll be able to see the International Space Station from your own backyard.

ABC7's weather blog reports the station will fly over Northern Virginia just before 10 p.m. Monday night.

According to Heavens Above, the station will appear low in the northwest sky at 9:47 p.m. By 9:50 p.m., the station will become brighter and appear about 45 degrees above the horizon.

It will be close to the moon around 9:48 p.m.
