Track and Field: Britt Savage Earns State Title
Flint Hill team in top 10 at VISAA state championship meet

Junior Britt Savage brought home first place in the 300 meter hurdles from the Virginia Independent Schools Athletic Association state championship meet Saturday.
One of 10 Flint Hill runners to participate, Savage put the Huskies on the scoreboard with her time of 46.32 and led them to a ninth place finish out of 19 schools with just 15 points.
"Britt's work ethic, positive attitude, and leadership have turned her into an outstanding student athlete. When she sets a goal and puts her mind to it, she can't be stopped," said Doug MacLeod, the Huskies' coach. "I'm proud of the whole team, we had a great season, and many of our talented athletes, including Britt, will be back next year."
