Track & Field: Oakton Girls Three-Peat

Cougars top standings in six events

The Oakton High girls track and field team won its third consecutive Concorde District title Friday, earning first place in four events.

Meghan Jean-Baptiste placed first in the 100- and 300-meter hurdles and the high jump. Allie Klimkiewicz topped the standings in the 3200-meter run.

The boys placed fifth, with Nestor Folta earning first place in two events: 110-and 300-meter hurdles.

With this title, the girls running program (cross-country, indoor and outdoor track) has won eight straight district titles.
