Track & Field: Oakton Runners in First in Four Events

Meghan Jean-Baptiste topped rankings of three events

Though the Oakton High track and field program did not earn a Northern Region title as a team, two runners topped the rankings in four events Friday.

Meghan Jean-Baptiste nabbed three first-place finishes on the girls side in the 100- and 300-meter hurdles, and the high jump. For the boys, Michael McNamee bested the Northern Region in the 800-meter run.
