Two baseball players from Oakton High School earned spots on the 2011 All-Northern Region first team roster: shortstop Chad Carroll and outfielder Luke Willis.
Carroll and Willis, both seniors, helped lead the Cougars to the Concorde District title for the first time since 2006. Both have signed to play baseball at the collegiate level, Carroll to James Madison University and Willis to Coastal Carolina University.
