What's Open, What's Closed on Veterans Day
Fairfax County government closed in observance of Veterans Day; county schools are open.

Some Fairfax County offices and services will be closed today in observance of Veterans Day. Here's the lowdown:
- Fairfax County Government is closed.
- Fairfax County Public Schools are open.
- Fairfax County courts will be closed.
- Fairfax County Department of Neighborhood and Community Services (NCS) programs, activities and facilities, including Fastran services, will be closed.
- Fairfax County Public Libraries are closed Sunday and Monday. Libraries will re-open Tuesday.
- RECenters will be open on a regular schedule on Monday.
- Community centers will be closed.
- Nature and historic centers — Colvin Run/Sully Historic Sites, Hidden Oaks/Hidden Pond, Riverbend Visitor Center are closed on Monday.
- Huntley Meadows Park Nature Center: Open noon to 5 p.m.
- Frying Pan Farm Park: Open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Visitor Center open 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- Green Spring Gardens will be open noon to 4:30 p.m. (historic house closed).
- County trash and recycling: Regular collection
