James Beard-Nominated Chefs Serve As Guest Chefs At Tysons Restaurant
As part of a series featuring James Beard Award nominees, chefs of acclaimed D.C. restaurants will prepare a tasting menu.

TYSONS, VA — Diners at Tysons restaurant Joon can get a taste of menus prepared by acclaimed guest chefs who were nominated for James Beard Awards.
Persian restaurant Joon, located at 8045 Leesburg Pike suite 120, Vienna, VA, is hosting the Guest Chef Series to benefit the James Beard Foundation. Joon itself is led by James Beard Award semifinalists Christopher Morgan and Najmieh Batmanglij.
The Guest Chef Series features menus prepared by the celebrated chefs and live fire cooking on the patio. Along with the five-course live fire tasting menu, guests enjoy music and cocktails.

So far, Joon has hosted Chef Juan Olivera of Ceibo on June 4, Chef Carlos Delgado of Causa/Bar Amazonia on June 25 and Chefs Matt Conroy and Isabel Coss of Lutéce and Pascual on July 9.
The next in the series features James Beard Award nominee Chef Kevin Tien of Moon Rabbit on July 3. That date is sold out, but the next events with James Beard Award nominee Chef Amy Brandwein of Centrolina on Aug. 6 and James Beard Award semifinalist Chef Seng Luangrath of Baan Mae and Thip Khao on Aug. 20 are still available. The event costs $125 per guest plus tax.
