MidnighTreats To Close Vienna Location, Another NoVA Location Opening

MidnighTreats, a locally-run shop for vegan cookies, will be closing one of its locations and opening another.

VIENNA, VA — Vienna residents can make their last runs for vegan cookies as MidnighTreats prepares to close.

MidnighTreats will close its Vienna location at Glyndon Plaza (167 Glyndon St. SE) on Sept. 7, the business told its followers in an email. A reason for the closing was not provided.

"We've enjoyed our two years here and greatly appreciate all your support!" the business shared with followers.

MidnighTreats was started as a home-based business in 2018 by Johnny Nguyen, who grew up in Vienna. The brand's cookies are plant based with no eggs or dairy. The Vienna location opened in late 2022, according to FFX Now.

MidnighTreats has other locations in Reston and Alexandria. As it closes the door on Vienna, the cookie shop will open a new location at Arlington's Ballston Quarter (4238 Wilson Blvd.) on Sept. 7.
