Infant Unresponsive After Leaving Vienna Caregiver
Eleven-month-old boy remains at Children's National Medical Center in Washington, D.C.; Police continue to investigate

Vienna and Fairfax County Police are continuing to investigate how an infant became unresponsive Wednesday during a car ride from Vienna to his mother in Reston.
The 11-month-old boy was put into a car by his caregiver on Lakewood Drive in Vienna. When he arrived at his mother's home in Reston, they found the boy was unresponsive.
Fairfax County EMS brought the child to Reston Hospital Center, where he was treated before being flown to Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, D.C. The boy continued to receive treatment there Thursday.
The case remains under investigation, Vienna Police Officer Bill Murray said. It's unclear how the child became unresponsive.
