Ringling Bros. Parent Company Moves Jobs From Tysons to Florida

Feld Entertainment says relocation of 190 employees part of a strategy to get more of its operations under one roof

Nearly 200 employees will soon leave the Tysons Corner headquarters of Feld Entertainment, the parent company of Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus, for a new $20 million headquarters in Florida.

The company, which also runs Disney On Ice and Monster Jam, among other entertainment entities, announced Monday it would permanently relocate 190 jobs, part of an effort to locate all parts of the massive international organization under one roof, the Washington Post reports. Construction has yet to begin on the 47-acre plot in Ellenton, Fla., but when completed it will have about 100,000 square feet of office space and 450,000 square feet of manufacturing space across two buildings.

The move will take about five years and still leave more than 100 jobs at the Tysons office on Westwood Center Drive.
