Vienna Farmers Market Opening Soon

The market features more than 30 vendors selling local produce each Saturday in the Town of Vienna.

VIENNA, VA -- The Vienna’s Farmers Market, located at the heart of Vienna, will open for the season on May 7.

The market operates every Saturday May through October, from 8 a.m. to noon at Faith Baptist Church parking lot, at 301 Center St. South in Vienna. The last day the market will be open this season is Oct. 29.

The market features more than 30 vendors from across the region, providing locally sourced fruits and vegetables and homemade eats. In addition, the Market features entertainment, with music featured to accompany your shopping.

Fees from the Vienna Farmers Market are a major fundraiser for the Optimist Club of Greater Vienna, directly benefiting kids in Vienna, according to organizers.

The Vienna Farmers Market is a Certified Farmers Market, meaning that farmers can provide proof of local produce. Vendors must grow, raise, bake or make all products at the market that they sell. There are two exceptions to this--a coffee and tea maker who roasts his own blends (due to the high local demand for this in-town roaster) and a chocolate maker who gives proceeds back to a charity in their country.
