Take a look at some of the gorgeous cherry blossoms ringing the Tidal Basin and around DC in photos posted Thursday to social media.

The cherry blossoms are in bloom and there are plenty of photos being taken to show off the pink-hued blossoms. (In fact, there's even a video out, poking fun at all the selfie-sticks popping up around the Tidal Basin.)

The weather forecast, according to the National Weather Service:
- Friday: Cloudy with widespread showers with isolated thunderstorms in the morning...then partly sunny with scattered showers in the afternoon. Highs in the lower 70s. Southwest winds 10 to 15 mph...becoming west in the afternoon. Chance of rain 80 percent.
- Friday Night: Mostly clear. Lows in the lower 40s. Northwest winds 10 to 15 mph.
- Saturday: Sunny. Highs around 60. North winds 5 to 10 mph... Becoming northeast in the afternoon.
- Saturday Night: Partly cloudy. Lows in the lower 40s.
- Sunday: Mostly sunny. Highs in the mid 60s.
