Gazebo Gatherings 2024 Summer Concert Series in downtown Front Royal

Gazebo Gatherings Summer Concert Series presented by Blue Ridge Arts Council and sponsored in partneship with the Virginia Commission for the Arts, the County of Warren, and the Town of Front Royal.

Bring a lawn chair and arrive early to get a good parking space. About 150 to 200 people attend these Gazebo Gatherings so you can be close to the stage, stretch out and enjoy some good old fashioned entertainment. Great restaurants abound on Main Street and Town Commons area. The best way to enjoy a Thursday evening in Front Royal.

June 13—American Legion Community Band

A songbook of an evening - marches to movies, classics to pops. The American Legion Community Band, located in Front Royal, was formed in 1986 and has been playing concerts in the area ever since. The conductors are Ed Richards, Ronald Dye and Mark Malechek. The American Legion Community Band's performance season extends from September through July each year. The conductors and band members are all volunteer musicians from the local area and new members are always welcome.

June 20—Joe Martin
Rock/Jazz/Classical guitar arrangements. Joe has established a side career performing his own exciting and emotional arrangements of well-known rock, jazz and classical selections. You can catch him at various venues in the northern Shenandoah Valley.

June 27—Smoke & The Poet
Country/Folk music from the Shenandoah Valley and inspired by red dirt country and roots music. This band is the best thing ever! Seriously though, their covers are good but their originals are fantastic!

July 11—Rock Bottom Band
Music spanning decades from the soulful 60s to the rocking 90s. Rock Bottom Band is made up of 5 very talented individuals. They have a good song selection. They play an array of music that everyone can enjoy.

July 18—From the Clay Duo with Mark Clay & Kahle Magalis
Local writer’s songs mixed with your favorite classics. With their strong, story-telling lyrics and broad range of genre of songs, From The Clay sets the stage to appeal to all audiences. This band not only captivates with their original music but with their noteworthy talent.

July 25—Medicine Wind

This versatile quintet will be bringing their eclectic mix of classic rock, Blues, Americana, and country.

August 1—The Sidemen
Seasoned musicians true to their rock and roll roots. The Sidemen will soothe you with some yacht rock and classic '60s/'70s hits.

August 8—Rich Follett
Rich Follett performs easy-on-the-ears acoustic folk music. His song list includes familiar tunes from the 1920’s to the present as well as his original compositions, which offer insightful lyrics and inviting melodies you will want to hear over and over again.

August 15—Ryan Jewel
Ryan tends to write and sing the songs that he can relate to most, whether he's lived the subject of the song or seen others live through it, his songs are relatable to a wide array of ages and people, alike. His rich, baritone vocals, paired with authentic songwriting, which reflect his own life experiences, have helped build a strong fan base who enjoys the "what you see is what you get" style of shows and demeanor.

August 22—Vinyl Tracks
Vinyl Tracks is a classic rock band based in Front Royal, VA, who enjoy doing an awe inspiring all Beatles tribute show.
