Short Hill Mountain Boys visit The Bluffs at Cedar Creek, August 24

Opening up for for the main act will be the powerful Winchester native Chris Huntt Jr., an up-and-coming singer/songwriter.

The incredibly talented Short Hill Mountain Boys will drop into The Bluffs at Cedar Creek to complete the Crick Pickin summer music season on Saturday, August 24.

Short Hill Mountain Boys were founded just over ten years ago. The band is from Lovettesville, Virginia, and play their own compelling blend of Bluegrass, Old Time, Cajun, Classic Country and Folk Music with a rare passion. Their flawless harmony vocals, soulful fiddling, and exquisite guitar picking are tight and practiced like the suit and cowboy hat bluegrass acts, but imbued with the authenticity, spontaneity and infectious good time of old time mountain music, in which they are well-steeped.

The Mountain Boys' quiet ballads and big show-stoppers take us all back to an innocent era when living was less complex. Their lyrics capture vivid rural landscapes and reflect a strong relationship to the natural environment.
