Prince William County police say that since early July, there have been several reports of tire and rim larcenies from vehicles parked in commuter lots and garages at area VRE and commuter locations. These thefts have been reported to have occurred during the day hours, 6:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., while vehicle owners have been at work. Police have increased their patrols and continue to monitor the area commuter and VRE lots within Prince William County. Commuters are urged to report suspicious activity to the police at 703-792-6500.
