Family Spots Prowler Outside Bedroom Door

Police are on the lookout for a man after a homeowner's children spotted him outside their ground floor bedroom door.

A homeowner in the 1800 block of Cedar Cove Way in Woodbridge reported to police at 4:25 a.m. on Monday that her children – ages 13, 19 and 21 – noticed an unknown man outside.

Police spokesperson Jonathan Perok said that the area was checked extensively by police. No persons were seen in the area. No entry was gained or attempted into the residence and the man did not say anything. 

The man is described as a black male of unknown age, 5-foot-8, 190 pounds of thin build. He was last seen wearing a white sleeveless t-shirt.
